About The Pen Center
The Pen Centre become constructed in 1957 because the Niagara Peninsula Centre, a unmarried level, out of doors strip mall, anchored through Loblaws and 50 retail shops and opened in 1958. In 1966, the evolution of the Pen Centre protected the addition of Simpson-Sears and eighty new shops, making the Pen Centre the fourth biggest buying centre in Canada.
The mall remained as an open-strip, with landscaped walkways in between. By September 1975 the strip-mall become enclosed and have become a climate-managed surroundings at a fee of $2 million. Located subsequent to the Highway 406, it has over a million rectangular toes of ground area and functions over a hundred and eighty shops, a prime branch store, a supermarket, a ten-display screen movieplex, and numerous massive layout anchors.
