About Chefs Plate
Chef Plate was founded in Toronto in late 2014. Patrick Meyer and Jamie Shea, both co-founders, were inspired by the many companies in the United States offering meal kit delivery services. Like many ready-to-eat meal services for cooking, they deliver fresh ingredients in a refrigerated box.
The box also includes recipe cards, and is complete with pictures for each step of preparing your meal. Originally, Chef Plate was only delivered in the Toronto area, but the company gradually expanded its delivery area throughout Ontario. Today, Chef Plate delivers across Canada (Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Manitoba).
